While we’ve got Heroes of the Dorm and the Intercontinental Clash to keep us busy this weekend, the Mid-Season Brawl still looms in the distance. Now that the full schedule is posted we wanted to get thoughts from the community about which of these matches should be considered “the most anticipated” before we dissect them ourselves.

Speaking with members of the pro community from all over the world, these are the matches that everyone seems to be the most excited about.

Adrian "adrd" Wojcik, Flex Player for Zealots – “I'm looking forward to see Dignitas vs Tempest. We haven't seen how Europe compares to Korea in a while, so it will be interesting to see how that match goes as it will give us at least some kind of an idea where both regions stand.”

Nils "Nurok" Gebhardt, Flex Player for Team Liquid - “It's interesting to see Europe and Korea clash. It's always a battle between those two and you can never know who will come out on top. The Koreans will be the region to beat in this tournament.”

Derek “Dunktrain” Arabian, Heroes of the Dorm Caster – “Team Dignitas versus Tempest should be an amazing match, because Dignitas have clearly shown they are outstanding in their region and should be serious global competitors, meanwhile Tempest have some extremely skilled veteran players yet they came third in Korea this phase. This match should give us a ton of updated information about the relative strength of the two regions.”

James “Bakery” Baker, Manager of Development at Team Dignitas - “Team Dignitas versus Tempest is going to be a landmark matchup. The question for a lot of the European fans over the past six months has been ‘Is Team Dignitas on that next level or is everyone else dropping the ball?’. This is the series that can answer that question.”

Aaron Blackman, Head Writer for HeroesHype - “The match I'm looking forward to the most is HeroesHearth Esports vs Tempest on day two of the Mid-Season Brawl. HeroesHearth found some success against European teams during their first LAN at the Western Clash, so I'm really interested to see their play style going up against some of the best in Korea!”

Fnatic vs. Tempo Storm—Sunday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. CEST

Thomas "Khaldor" Kilian, HGC Caster - “I'm interested in the re-match between Tempo Storm and Fnatic after the European team was defeated at the Western Clash. This time around, with their full lineup, I expect Fnatic to be out for revenge and am sure we'll get a match worthy of the MSB out of the encounter.”

HeroesHearth Esports vs. Team Dignitas—Monday, June 11 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. CEST

Indecisive Folks

Jerome “KilluZiioN” Tanguay, Support Player for Team Freedom – “I think Team Dignitas versus Tempest matchup and Tempo Storm versus Ballistix will be super interesting. Both series will give us a good idea where the West is compared to Korea and should be telling of how far both North America and Europe can go in this tournament.”

Young Jae “Rallyjaffa” Jeon, Contributing Writer HGC Website – “My main point of interest in international tournaments is how Europe and Korea matches up, so I'm most excited for Fnatic versus Ballistix and Tempest versus Team Dignitas.”

Benjamin "Fat94" Vinante-Davies, Flex Player for Mindfreak (ANZ) - “I think for the first time looking at teams attending this event it’s hard to point out the one-sided games. China doesn’t have any visa issues to my knowledge as well so I’m honestly looking forward to watching every single match and hopefully I’ll be playing in some of them myself.”

See for yourself if Fat94 and the rest of Mindfreak can pull off a win at the Intercontinental Clash this weekend. You can catch all the action when the games go live at Twitch.tv/blizzard_anz
